Monday, 3 March 2014

A reporter of a newspaper has been found dead at Uttara in Dhaka city. The deceased has been identified as Shah Alam Sagar, 25. He worked for the weekly ‘Saptahik Aparadh Daman’ as a reporter. Police said he died after falling down from the roof of a building, situated under Uttara (west) Police Station. There are, however, differences of opinions over how Sagar died on Sunday. Some of the locals said they suspected that he was pushed off from the roof of the building. No one, however, agreed to speak on record. Assistant Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (North) Saifullah Mohammed said that the man died after ‘falling from the roof’. The body has been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, according to bdnews24.com.
