Journos demand law to ensure their security

Amid their growing security concern, journalists in Dhak on Tuesday demanded the government formulate a law to ensure their security. They came up with the demand at a human-chain programme protesting police attack on ETV journalist Akhil Poddar in front of the Jatiya Press Club. They also called upon the journalist community to form a professional unity to prevent all types of harassments and oppressions on journalists across the country. The human chain was organised by Jatiya Sangabadik Sangstha (JSS) , according to a news agency.
