Journos Welfare Trust Bill, 2014 placed in JS

A bill aimed at ensuring welfare of the poor, insolvent, sick and wounded journalists and family members of deceased journalists was placed in the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Wednesday, reports BSS.
Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu introduced the bill titled "Bangladesh Journalists' Welfare Trust Bill, 2014'. The bill was later sent to Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Information.
