Joyardhan bridge opens today

BHOLA, Oct 24: The long desired bridge over the Joyardhan Canal of Bhola-Lalmohon alternative road at Borhanuddin opens today (Saturday)
The Chief Engineer of LGED Md Nurul Islam is expected to inaugurate the bridge while a lot of officials will be special guests among others. On this occasion a good number of people will assemble in the bridge-side meeting at 10.00 am.
Speaking to FE the Executive Engineer of LGED Bhola Md Shahnawaz said according to the demand of a road link in the South-West region specially with Baufall and Patuakhali, a bridge of 150 metres length and 6.80 metres width has been constructed at a cost of about Tk. 576 million for the Joyardhan Canal of Bhola-Lalmohon alternative road also known as the Borhanuddin-Najirpur road.
