Joypurhat municipality budget announced

JOYPURHAT, Mar 31: Joypurhat Pourashobha (municipality) announced its annual budget for the fiscal 2010-11 Sunday.
Fazlur Rahman, mayor of Joypurhat Pourashobha, announced the budget.
He said in the upcoming budget revenue income had been fixed at Tk 5,69,81,701 and expenditure at Tk 5,25,57,308.
For development projects, income had been set at Tk 42,30,28,925 and expenditure at 42,92,6,792 respectively.
The total income of the municipality had been fixed at Tk 48,0000,626 and expenditure at Tk 48,17,64,100.
The mayor, in his speech, said urban development projects such as BMDF, post-flood rehabilitation, town development, water supply and sanitation, district town construction project are under implementation.
