JP announces names of 47 candidates for polls

Jatiya Party (JP) Friday announced the name of 47 candidates out of a total of 50 seats allocated to it as nominees of the 14-party grand combine to contest the upcoming ninth Jatiya Sangsad polls, reports BSS.
The rest three seats will be announced later, a JP press release said.
The names of the candidates were announced following talks held between Awami League and JP.
Besides, in case of cancellation of nomination of any candidate of the combine during scrutiny or any other reason, candidates of the alliance partners will be considered as nominees of the 14-party grand combine.
