JP to be strengthened before polls: Ershad

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Hussain Mohammad Ershad said on Monday the party will have to be strengthened before the next national elections, reports BSS.
He urged the party workers to reorganise and rejuvenate party activities in all districts to fulfill people's aspirations.
Mr Ershad was exchanging views with Comilla district south unit of JP leaders at party chairman's office at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
Mr Ershad, also Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, directed his party leaders and workers to make a success the upcoming biennial council of the party.
The council is scheduled for September 6.
The view exchange meeting was also addressed, among others, by secretary general of JP Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu, presidium member SM Faisal Chisti, vice chairmen Rawshan Ara Mannan, MP, Professor Nurul Islam Milon, MP, HNM Shafiqur Rahman and senior joint secretary general Advocate Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan.
