JP will be voted to power next time: Ershad

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman HM Ershad has predicted that his party will come to power next time as the people of Bangladesh want to see a change. ‘The countrymen now want to get rid of the two major political parties. They want alternative… they want a change. So, JP will fulfill the people’s expectations after assuming power in near future,’ Ershad said while addressing a programme, organised by JP in the city. Ershad, the former President, also urged the JP leaders and workers to work for strengthening the party. JP Secretary General Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu, presidium members Anisul Islam Mahmud, GM Quader and its Dhaka North City president SM Faisal Chishti, also spoke, according to a news agency.
