JS body for working women\\\'s hostels in each dist, UZ

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs recommended Wednesday setting up hostels for working women on Khas land or donated land in each upazila and district across the country, reports UNB.
The recommendations came up at its 9th meeting held at Jatiya Sangsad (JS) with its chairman Rebecca Momin in the chair.
Committee members Serajul Akbar, Mahbub Ara Begum Gini, Nasreen Jahan Ratna and Monowara Begum attended the meeting.
Besides, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry suggested the government to appoint specialist doctors immediately to fill the vacant posts in the hospitals of the CHT region.
The committee also suggested appointing competent officials to other vacant posts of the civil administration in the three hill districts with consent of the CHT Affairs Ministry.
The recommendations were made at its 8th meeting held at JS with its chairman RAM Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury in the chair.
Committee members Kujendra Lal Tripura and MA Awal attended the meeting.
