JS body meet on public accounts held

A meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Accounts suggested for speedy disposal of cases for realising outstanding land development taxes from tea estate owners, reports BSS.
The 46th meeting of the committee, held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban Monday, also discussed financial matters of Greater Dhaka Telecommunication Network Development Project (two) and projects under the Ministry of Land.
Committee Chairman Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir presided over the meeting, while other members: Chief Whip M Abdus Shaheed, TIM Fazle Rabbi Chowdhury, MK Anwar, M Imajuddin Prang, M Syedul Haque and Maj Gen (retd) Abdus Salam were also present.
Posts and Telecommunications Secretary and high officials of ministries concerned attended the meeting.
