JS body scrutinises 3 CHT dist council amendment bills

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs Ministry scrutinised Sunday three amendment bills relating to the three CHT District Councils, reports UNB.
The committee, in its 5th meeting, scrutinised the three bills-Rangamati Hill Tracts District Parishad (Amendment) Bill-2014, Khagrachhari Hill Tracts District Parishad (Amendment) Bill-2014 and Bandarban Hill Tracts District Parishad (Amendment) Bill -2014.
Chairman of the standing committee RAM Ubaidul Moktadir Chowdhury presided over the meeting at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban. Committee members state minister for CHT Affairs Bir Bahadur, Muhammad Subid Ali Bhuiyan, Amanur Rahman Rana, Kujendra Lal Tripura, Firoza Begum Chinu and MA Awal attended it.
