Tuesday, 27 May 2014

Rajuk should go for selling readymade flats instead of the current system of allocating land to selected citizens, the parliamentary standing committee on the Housing and Public Works Ministry recommended on Tuesday. The committee made the recommendation in its second meeting held with its chairman Dabirul Islam in the chair at the Parliament Secretariat building. The meeting also recommended formation of two sub-committees to review the policy of Rajuk flat and plot allocation. It called for investigation into any irregularity in its public allotment of land to selected citizens, according to a news agency.
