JS goes to 7th session Tuesday

The 10th Jatiya Sangsad (parliament) will go into its 7th session around on Tuesday afternoon.
President Abdul Hamid summoned the parliament session on August 16 last exercising his power bestowed upon him by article 72 (1) of the Constitution. The 7th session will start around 5pm on Tuesday. All preparations have already been taken to initiate the session. The duration and business of the 7th session will be fixed from the meeting of business advisory committee to be held around 4pm with Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair. A total of 13 public bills including five new bills have been submitted for the 7th session. According to the constitution, the President must convene a session within 60 days of the last sitting of the last session and the first sitting of the next session, according to a news agency.
