The Parliamentary Standing Committee meeting on library discussed the matter relating to turn the Jatiya Sangsad Library into a modern and digital one like the Dhaka University and ICDDR,B libraries, reports BSS.
The meeting was held Thursday with committee Chairman and Deputy Speaker Shawkat Ali in the chair. The committee instructed the concerned persons to quickly implement the recommendations and decisions of earlier meeting.
It has also recommended that all-parliamentary standing committee meetings should be aired with utmost sincerity on Bangladesh Television (BTV) at 8pm . Committee members Whip Sheikh Abdul Wahab, Imran Ahmed, Kazi Kermat Ali, Mehar Afroz, Mohammad Zahid Ahasan Russel, Mahbub Ara Begum Gini, Golam Farooq Khondaker Prince and Shammi Akhtar attended the meeting.
