JS spl session on charter amendment soon: Suranjit

Co-chairman of Parliamentary Committee on Constitution Amendment Suranjit Sengupta said the special session of parliament would be called soon for discussion on the proposed amendments to the constitution, reports bdnews24.com. "We would like to finish this job as soon as possible," Mr Suranjit told the journalists after a meeting of the committee Sunday. The Awami League leader said the amended constitution would have a provision to declare suspension or repealing the constitution after capturing state power illegally as subversive acts.
