JU admission tests from today

The admission test of Jahangirnagar University (JU) for the first year honors under the academic session 2014- 15 begins today (Wednesday) on the campus.
The admission will be held under 5-6 shifts every day except Friday. The first shift will start at 9.00am every day.
On the first day the Mathematical and Physical Science test under the A unit will be held, Biological Science under D unit on September 18, Social Science under B unit and Institute of Information Technology (IIT) under H unit on September 20, Business Studies under E unit and Institute of Business Administration (IBA) under G unit on September 21, Arts and Humanities under C unit on September 22,and Law under F unit on September 23.   
Around 1, 96,324 admission seekers have applied against 2000 seats under the eight units this year, JU deputy registrar Mohammad Ali (Education) confirmed it.
Around 98 candidates will vie for one seat this time, he also said.
