JU admission tests to begin on Dec 21

Jahangirnagar University (JU) is set to begin the online application process for its undergraduate admission test for the 2025-26 academic session on 23 November, with examinations scheduled to start from 21 December.
The information was confirmed by Md Ali Reza, member secretary of the JU Central Admission Committee and Deputy Registrar (Education), in a statement to The Financial Express on Sunday.
According to the officials, the application deadline has been fixed at 7 December, allowing candidates to apply throughout the day. This year, the authorities have increased the application fees for all units by Tk 100 compared to last year.
The university has increased the total number of seats. An additional 26 seats have been added to last year's 1,816, bringing the total to 1,842 for the current academic session. Of these, 16 seats have been added to the Faculty of Law and 10 seats to the Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture (ICLC).
