JU observes 39th anniversary

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Jan 12: The Jahangirnagar University (JU) observed its the 39th founding anniversary Tuesday.
Adviser to the Prime Minister, also former vice chancellor of JU Prof Dr Alauddin Ahmed inaugurated the programme as chief guest.
Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Professor Nazrul Islam presided ove the function as special guest.
Teachers, students, officials and employees of the university also took part on the occasion.
Later a colourful rally was brought out on the campus to mark the day.
