JU to launch 4 new depts

The Jahangirnagar University (JU) will launch four new departments in the upcoming academic session of the university, Vice-chancellor of the university Prof Dr Shariff Enamul Kabir said. He said this while addressing an orientation and farewell function at the Fazilatunnesa Hall on the campus Wednesday night as the chief guest. The four departments are Media Studies, Law, Public Health Management and Fine Arts. Among others, Pro Vice-chancellors of the university Prof Dr Mohammad Muniruzzaman (education) and Prof Dr Mohammad Farhad Hossain (administration) addressed the function as special guests with provost of the hall Prof Ausit Baran Paul in the chair. - BSS
