Jubair murder: 4 accused escape from dock

Four accused in the Jubair Ahmed murder case escaped from the dock after a court in Dhaka on Sunday cancelled their bail. The four accused are Ashiqul Islam, Khan Mohammad Rais, Mahbub Akram and Ishtiaque Mehbub Arup. Court sources said when the Speedy Trial Tribunal-4 Judge ABM Nizamul Haque cancelled their bail in the afternoon they tactfully disappeared from the dock as there was reportedly no police in the courtroom. Earlier, in the day, the court cancelled the bail to six accused in the Jubair Ahmed murder case as they breached its terms set by the High Court on Sunday. Of the six, the four accused were present during hearing, according to a news agency.
