Jubo Dal leader sent to jail in Magura

Police arrested a local leader of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal from Arpara Bazaar in Shalikha upazila in Magura on Monday evening. The arrestee was identified as Maniruzzaman alias Chocolate, convener of Shalikha upazila unit of the BNP’s youth wing. Biplob Kumar Nath, officer-in-charge of Shalikha Police Station, said a team of police launched a drive in the area and held Maniruzzaman. He was arrested on charge of planning subversive activities, added the OC. The arrestee was sent to jail after he was produced before a court, according to UNB.
