Jubo Dal man stabbed

A Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal activist was injured in an attack allegedly by rival party men at Jhikorgachha upazila in Jessore district on Thursday evening. The victim was identified as Alamgir Hossain, 27, a local activist of Jubo Dal, the youth front of the BNP, and son of Abdul Hakim of Kagmari village of the upazila. Witnesses said a group of rival party activists attacked Alamgir with sharp weapons on his way to a local market around 7pm. The attackers stabbed him indiscriminately leaving him critically injured. He was admitted to Jessore Sadar Hospital, according to a news agency.
