Jubo Dal was stabbed to death

 A local leader of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal was stabbed to death by robbers at Sanyasibada village in Bera upazila early Monday. The deceased was identified as Manik Hossain, 28, president of Ruppur union unit of Jubo Dal and son of Nurul Islam of the village. Faruk Hossain, officer-in-charge of Aminpur Police Station, said a gang of bandits swooped on the house of Nurul around 3am and started looting valuables. When Manik tried to resist the robbers, they stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him dead on the spot. Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy, according to a news agency.
