Jubo Dal\\\'s countywide demo today

Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, the youth wing of BNP, will stage demonstrations across the country today (Tuesday) in protest against the hike in power tariffs and jailing of top BNP leaders. The programme is also meant for mounting pressure on the government to release the arrested BNP and Jubo Dal leaders, including BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain and Mirza Abbas and withdrawal of ‘false’ cases filed against Jubo Dal men, including its president Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal and general secretary Saiful Alam Nirob. The decision to stage nationwide protests was taken at an emergency meeting of the Jubo Dal yesterday. The demonstrations will be held in the afternoon in all cities, including the divisional ones, and district towns, according to a news agency.
