Jubo League activist stabbed dead in Khulna

A Jubo League activist was stabbed to death by miscreants in Mandra Khal area of Lobonchara thana on Friday noon.
The deceased was identified as Imran Sajib Akando, 28. He was an activist of Ward -6 of Jolma union Jubo League.
Police said a group of armed miscreants numbering 10-15 attacked Imran and stabbed him indiscriminately when he went to his fish enclosure around 12pm, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Sardar Mosharof Hossian, officer-in-charge of Lobonchara police station, said he was wanted in several cases, including of murder.
