Jubo League leader gunned down in city

A Jubo League leader was gunned down near his house in the city's Pallabi area Monday night. Police and witnesses said, four to five gunmen sprayed bullets on Pintu (25), president of Jubo League's Kalapania unit, at about 10:45 pm, killing him on the spot. Pintu is believed to have been killed following a land dispute. —UNB
