Jubo League leader held at Bhomra land port

KHULNA, July 28 (BSS): Police arrested a Jubo League leader on Sunday from Bhomra land port while he was attempting to flee to India.
The arrestee was identified as Younus Ali Moral, president of Kapilmuni Union Unit of Jubo League under Paikgacha upazila in the district.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Paikgacha Police Station Idrisur Rahman confirmed the arrest. Several cases were filed against Younus, and he had been absconding for a long time.
He is known to be a close associate of the acting chairman of Kapilmuni union and former Member of arliament Akhteruzzaman Babu.
