Jubo League leader shot dead by \\\'robbers\\\'

A local Jubo League leader was shot dead allegedly by robbers at Hilalpur village at Mostafapur union at Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila on Tuesday. The dead is Nazrul Islam, 37, Science and Technology Affairs Secretary of Jubo League Sadar Upazila unit. Police and locals said a gang of masked robbers stormed into one Nurul Ahmed’s house at the village at dead of night. The inmates of the house raised a hue and cry. As the neighbours, including Nazrul Islam, rushed to the spot, the bandits opened fire on them, leaving Nazrul killed on the spot by bullets, according to a news agency.
