Jubo League leader slaughtered in Munshiganj

A local Jubo League leader was slaughtered in Sreenagar Upazila in Munshiganj district on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Shamsul Haque Shamsu Pathan, 22, son of late Solaiman, alias Babu Pathan of Baghra village. Police said locals found the slaughtered body of Shamsu lying on the bank of a pond in Baghra Bazar area around 8pm and informed police. The law enforces recovered the body and sent it to a local hospital for post mortem. Police said miscreants slaughtered Shamsu and later cut off the tendon of his right leg. The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately, according to a news agency.
