Jubo League leader succumbs to injuries

A local Juba League leader, stabbed on Sunday night, succumbed to his injuries at Jessore Sadar Hospital on Monday. The dead is Tajumuddin, 37, general secretary of Juba League’s Nabharan working committee under Sharsha Upazila of Jessore district. Police, hospital and local sources said a gang of miscreants, equipped with sharp weapons, swooped on him at Nabharan Bazar on Sunday night. They stabbed him indiscriminately leaving him injured. He was rushed to the 250-Bed Sadar Hospital where he succumbed on Monday, according to a news agency.
