Jubo League man chopped dead

Miscreants hacked to death a local activist of Jubo League, the youth wing of Awami League, at Mymensingh Sadar upazila on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Sharif Ahmed, a resident of Mirzapur village of the upazila. Police and witnesses said a gang of miscreants attacked Sharif at Begunbari Bazar around 9:00pm and chopped him with sharp weapons while he was going to the local market, leaving him injured critically. Sharif died on way to Mymenshigh Medical College Hospital, according to a news agency.
