Jubo League man killed in Lakshmipur

A local Jubo League activist was slaughtered by unidentified miscreants at Madanpur village at Lakshmipur Sadar upazila on Monday. The deceased was identified as Roman Hossain, a resident of the village. Roman was abducted from near his house by a gang of miscreants on Sunday night. Later, local people found the slaughtered body of Roman at the village on Monday morning and informed police. Police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Police said the reason behind the killing could not be known immediately. A case was filed, according to a news agency.
