Jubo League man shot dead in Bogra

BOGRA, May 22: A local Jubo League activist was shot to death by unidentified miscreants in the district town Thursday. The victim was identified as Farhad Hossain Shiplu, an activist of the district unit of ruling Awami League's youth front and son of Habibur Rahman of Maltinagar Matir Masjid (Mosque) area of the town. Locals said some unidentified youths brought bullet-hit Shiplu to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital by a private car and fled the scene leaving him on the floor of the emergency unit. Later, doctors pronounced Shipu dead.    — UNB
