Jubo League man shot, hacked to death

A Jubo League man was shot and hacked to death by miscreants in Gopinathpur in Laxmipur Sadar Upazila on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Mohon Patwari, son of Hossain Ahmed Patwari of Gopinathpur village. Locals said Mohon came under attack by a gang of miscreants around 10:30pm. They at first fired shots at him and then chopped him with sharp weapons, leaving him dead on the spot. Locals spotted the body that bore several injury and bullet marks and informed police and family members. Police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy, according to UNB.
