Jubo League men vandalise AL office in Sirajganj

A local Awami League office was vandalised by Jubo League men in Tarash Upazila in Sirajganj district on Friday morning. Locals said there had been a longstanding dispute between two groups of Jubo League, the youth wing of the ruling Awami League, over establishing their dominance in Magura Binod union under the Upazila. Over the issue, Jubo League leader Abdur Razzak and his supporters swooped on the union AL office at Mannanagar Bazar and vandalised it. Confirming the incident, the Upazila unit Awami League general secretary Sanjit Karmaker said action would be taken against those who were involved in the incident, according to UNB.
