Monday, 27 August 2007

The special court trying high-profile corruption suspects Sunday rescheduled the judgement day for today (Monday) in the Tk 24 million (2.40 crore) bribery case against the detained former Communications Minister and BNP stalwart Nazmul Huda along with his wife Sigma Huda. Court sources said the special court set up at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban would also pronounce its verdict on four income-tax-evasion cases against Rabeya Siraj, wife of former Jute Minister Shahjahan Siraj, being tried in absentia.
