JUJA polls today

The Jahangirnagar University Journalist Association (JUJA) election will be held today (Saturday).
A total of 20 candidates are contesting in the election for nine posts.
Joni Alam of The Independent and Bachchu Shiekh Rabin of The New Age are contesting for the president post while Ali Hossain of Bangla Mail and Mamunur Rashid Saikat of The Dinkal are vying for general secretary post respectively.
A total of 48 journalists will exercise their franchise to elect executive members of the association for the term 2014-15 from 10:00 am to 1:00pm at JUJA's office.
