Junqi appreciates BD development

Vice- chairman of the standing committee of China National Peoples Congress Yan Junqi  said Wednesday Bangladesh is a unique example in the world for marching towards development.
Junqi, leading a delegation of China National People’s Congress, made the remark when he met Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her office, said a Parliament Secretariat release.
During the meeting, Speaker Shirin Sharmin and Yan Junqi discussed various bilateral matters like trade, investment and development, according to a news agency.
The Speaker appreciated the role of China in the development programmes in Bangladesh, including infrastructure.
