Justice Muhammad Hussain\\\'s death anniv today

The 28th death anniversary of Justice Syed Muhammad Hussain will be observed today (Wednesday). Born in 1928, Justice Hussain was the eldest son of late Syed Tasodduque Hussain, the then District and Sessions Judge and Begum Asma Hossain, said a press release.
Justice Hussain was an eminent Judge of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh who was removed under Martial Law in 1984. He was chairman of the Bangladesh Chapter of International Law Association, Amnesty International and International Commission of Jurists.
Justice Syed Muhammad Hussain is one of the pioneers of cultural movement in our country and was General Secretary of the Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts (BAFA) and Pakistan Arts Council.
In recognition to his contribution, Justice Syed Muhammad Hussain was awarded "Swadinata Padak" (Posthumous) in 1998.
