Justice Rashid made Law Commission chairman

The government appointed Monday Justice MA Rashid, a retired judge of the High Court (HC), chairman of the Law Commission for three years, said an official announcement. Justice Rashid retired on January 27 this year. This is for the first time that a retired judge of the HC Division has been appointed chairman of the three-member Law Commission. — UNB
