Justices Mominur Rahman, Abdul Aziz administered

Two newly appointed justice of the Appellate Division, justice Shah Abu Nayeem Mominur Rahman and justice Md Abdul Aziz were sworn in Sunday, reports bdnews24.com.

Chief Justice MM Ruhul Amin administered the oath at the Judges' Lounge of the Supreme Court.

All judges of the Supreme Court were present at the function.

Following their swearing in, the Supreme Court Bar Association felicitated the newly appointed judges at the court of the Chief Justice.

President Zillur Rahman named the two new judges for the Appellate Division the previous week in line with recommendations of the Supreme Judicial Commission.

Justice Shah Abu Nayeem Mominur Rahman was born on November 11, 1944 at Gazipur. He was appointed judge of the High Court Division on June 1, 1996. He will retire on November 24, 2011.

Justice Md Abdul Aziz was born on January 1, 1943 at Jessore. He was appointed High Court Judge on April 27, 1998. He will retire on December 31, this year.
