JUTIN- a corrugated sheet made of hessian cloth and solution of polymer material that can be used as an alternative to traditional metal corrugated sheets-was launched Monday.
The new durable and eco-friendly product has been developed by a research group of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) under the supervision of its chief scientific officer (Radiation and Polymer Chemistry Laboratory) Dr Mubarak Ahmed Khan.
The new product was launched during a workshop on 'Jute Based Composite Material' organised by the International Jute Study Group (IJSG), chaired by its secretary general Sudripta Roy.
