A traffic sergeant of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) checking documents of a private motorbike on the Hatkhola Road on Wednesday noon while a few yards away remains parked a police motorbike that bears no registration number. Under Sections 16 (1) and 16 (3) of the Road Transport Act of 2018 no motor vehicle is allowed without a valid registration number.
