CM Koyes Sami and Farooq Hossain have recently been elected president and secretary general of the Dhaka University Sociology Alumni (DUSA) for 2011-13. Sami, a noted banker, is the president of Surjasen Hall Ex-Students' Association and was the secretary general of SM Hall Alumni Association. Farooq is a business executive, and was the vice-president of SM Hall Students' Union during 1972-75.
