Kabaddi, Handball, Squash announce team for SA Games

Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation, Bangladesh Handball Federation and Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation with a promise of improved performance announced their squad for the forthcoming 11th SA Games, the biggest sports extravaganza of the sub-continent at the BOA House in the city Wednesday, reports BSS.
Bangladesh Kabbadi team boosted by the year -long training behind them eyed the Gold of the 11th SA Games. Motivated to show their skills in their own backyard both the men's and women's Kabaddi team pledged the best performance for the sake of the country.
The men's competition involves India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh while the women's competition will comprise India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Men's Kabaddi Team: Al Mamun, Md. Kamal Hossain, Enamul Huq, Abu Saleh Musa, Md. Mozammel Huq, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Raju Ahmed, Maftun Huq, Md. Sadequl Islam, Md. Arshaduzzaman, Tipu Sultan, Kamal Hossain-2. Coach- Abdul Jalil.
Bangladesh Women's Kabbadi Team: Shahnaz Parvin Maleka, Maleka Parvin, Kazi Shahin Ara, Juny Chakma, Farzana Akter Baby, Fatema Akter Shila, Hasna Mariam Barna, Fatema Akter Poly, Rupali Akter, Dolly Shefali, Sharmin Sultana Rima, Hena Akter. Coach Abdul Hakim.
Bangladesh handball team boosted up with the technical and tactical instructions of the German coach Wolfgang Lowak expressed confidence of winning the Gold medal for the sake of the country.
Bangladesh has been grouped with Nepal and Afghanistan in the group B while group A is composed with India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Will Mather, the US coach uttered strong confidence. 'We have a wonderful opportunity ahead to show our potential and we have prepared ourselves to fight till the end, Bangladesh will perform with distinction' said Mather.
