Monday, 15 September 2014

Valiant freedom fighter Abdul Kader Siddiqui has reportedly criticised AKM Shamim Osman saying the lawmaker is staging a drama by keeping himself at loggerheads with Narayanganj City Corporation Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy. He said both the Narayanganj MP and the NCC mayor are ‘criminals’ and they are involved in the politics of the ruling party. Kader Siddiqui, also the President (KSJL) of Krishak Sramik Janata League, launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasing, alleging that the premier has intentionally staging the drama by keeping Shamim and Ivy loggerheads. Siddiqui came up with the allegations while addressing a programme at Chasara Shaheed Miner in Narayanganj city. ‘Leftists are staying in one side of the stage while in the another side Awami League leaders and activists are staying as the people in Narayanganj are enjoying the drama,’ he claimed. Protesting the comment made by some ruling party ministers and lawmakers that AK Khandaker was a Pakistan supporter, Siddiqui said AK Khandaker was a freedom fighter. He should be respected. ‘However, everything AK Khandaker wrote in the book is not true,’ he added, according to a news agency.
