KAF-Seagroatt 3Q net profit up

KUALA LUMPUR, April 25 (The Edge): KAF-Seagroatt & Campbell Bhd's earnings rose 67.5 per cent to RM4 million for the third quarter ended Feb 28, 2011 from RM2.38 million a year ago due mainly to higher gross profit offset by higher administrative expenses.
It said Monday, Feb 25 revenue rose 63.4 per cent to RM10.84 million from RM6.63 million. Earnings per share were 3.34 sen compared with 1.99 sen.
For the nine-month period, its earnings increased by 24.6 per cent to RM18.64 million from RM14.95 million. Revenue rose 30.6 per cent to RM30.55 from RM23.38 million.
