Kaiser brought to tribunal

Former Jatiya Party (JP) minister Syed Mohammed Kaiser has been brought to the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-2 ahead of the imminent verdict in his war crimes trial on Tuesday. The vehicle carrying him reached the ICT premises in Old High Court from the Dhaka Central Jail in Old Dhaka around 8:45am. He has been kept at the tribunal’s lock-up, said High Court Police Outpost’s Inspector Abdus Salam. The ICT-2 led by Justice Obaidul Hassan is expected to deliver the verdict after 10:00am, according to a news agency.
