Kalabagan burn injured woman dies at DMCH

A woman who sustained burn injuries in a ‘mysterious explosion’ in Central Road under Kalabagan Police Station in Dhaka on August 08, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital early Thursday. The deceased was identified as Panna Akhter, 28. Panna Akhter, who received 95 per cent burn injuries, died at the burn and plastic surgery unit of DMCH around 3am, said Inspector Mozammel, in-charge of DMCH police camp. On August 8, three people including Panna sustained burn injuries in an explosion from an unknown source on the fifth floor of a six-storey building in Central Road around 8:00 am. The injured were rescued and rushed to DMCH, according to a news agency.
