Kalabagan KC register 5th win

Kalabagan KC registered the 5th win in their 7th match of the Metropolis Premier Division Cricket League outplaying BKSP by 175 runs at the Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah Tuesday, reports UNB.
In the day's another match, Victoria SC earned a three-wicket victory over Old DOHS SC in a low scoring affair at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium (SBNS) in Mirpur.
The day's other match between Cricket Coaching School (CCS) and Khelaghar SKS was not held at BKSP due to unplayable condition of the ground. The match will be held today (Wednesday) at the SBNS in Mirpur.
At the Fatullah Stadium, Kalabagan KC batted first after winning the toss and scored 276 runs for 9 wickets in allocated 50 overs.
Opener Golam Mabud contributed match highest 66 runs off 99 balls with seven fours while Mohammad Zahid added 60 runs off 68 balls with seven fours and a six.
Besides, Ariful Haque (49), Rakibul Hasan (34), Nazmus Sadat (26) and Jubaer Ahmed (12) were the other notable scorers for Kalabagan KC.
In reply, national sports training institute team BKSP were bundled out for 101 runs in 31.4 overs with Atiqur Rahman making 34 and Liton Kumar 22 runs.
Pacer Shahadat Hossain grabbed three wickets for 30 runs while Nazmus Sadat, Raquibul Hasan and Enamul Hoque Jr took two wickets each. At the SBNS in Mirpur, coin-favoured Old DOHS batted first and were all out for 74 runs in 32.2 overs with only Taibur Rahman and Fazle Rabbi reaching double digit scoring 24 and 20 runs respectively.
Abul Bashar and Arsalan Mir caused the major damage to Old DOHS innings claiming three wickets each for 10 and 25 runs respectively.
Chasing the poor total, Victoria SC easily reached their target making 77 runs for seven wickets in 29.4 overs with Arsalan Mir scoring 21, Arafat Salauddin not out 12, Abul Bashar 11 and Kamrul Islam 10 runs.
National pacer Dollar Mahmud and Rubel Hossain picked up two wickets apiece for 15 and 26 runs respectively.
